Does the AI include exact citation quotes from the documents?

At this time, we do not include exact quotes of the citations from documents because in doing so, our tests showed a consistent and significant degradation in overall summary output depth and breadth. We're optimizing for the quality of the document summary output and then we provide all the citations for review from across the document as highlights in their full context.

Luminary AI summaries are fully editable and you can make further modifications to the summary. Customers typically use the Citations feature to quickly find the fact source, and copy any relevant citations to the summary.
